The Constitutional Commission`s Human Rights Sub-Committee - 2nd session held

The Constitutional Commission's Human Rights Sub-Committee held the second session on May 28, 2003 at 2 p.


The Constitutional Commission's Human Rights Sub-Committee held the second session on May 28, 2003 at 2 p.m. The Chairman of the Sub-Committee, Mr. Rodoljub Sabic, presided over the session.

The Constitutional Commission's Human Rights Sub-Committee adopted the suggestion for its sessions to be held Wednesdays. Mr. Zoran Nikoli}, a Sub-Committee member, and Mr. Zoran Lutovac, in a capacity of the expert-consultant, shall prepare a draft text of the part of the Constitution related to human rights.

Mr. Chairman informed the Sub-Committee members that Mr. Maurizio Massari, the Head of the OSCE Mission in Serbia and Montenegro, expressed that international organization's willingness to help the Sub-Committee with its efforts. The Sub-Committee's proposals will be delivered to the OSCE experts, whose suggestions are to contribute to the better protection of both human rights and liberties.
